This traditional Italian song by Eduardo Capua is written as a trumpet feature. The opening is played in cadenza style and quickly moves into the tango style melody. The lead moves between the trumpets and the Horn/Trombone. The fast moving trumpet obbligato will thrill and impress your audience.
Michael Panza retired after spending more than 36 years in the field of education. During this time he served as a Music Educator, Principal and a Superintendent. Dr. Panza holds Bachelor and Master Degrees in Music Education from Duquesne University, a Masters in School Administration, also from Duquesne University, his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova University and post Doctorate credits from Westminster College. He has also been an adjunct professor at Robert Morris University and Duquesne University. As a Tuba Major, he is performing with the Faculty Brass Quintet from Duquesne University and performs throughout the region. He has also been a guest conductor for various Music Education concerts.
