LES
KINSOLVING -- NARRATOR / JOURNALIST
"UNINHIB" the
license plate on Les' (Virginia) auto says it all - but an
explanation of the acronym is needed. The letters refer to
Kinsolving's regular radio program called "Uninhibited
Radio." At every opportunity, the yesteryear (70+) throwback
to radio tries to illuminate, inspire and shockingly prod
his listeners with his poignant commentary.
Such
efforts have led to Kinsolving being named on the the 100 " Most
Important Radio Talk Show Hosts in America," according
to Talkers Magazine. The survey covered 4,300 talk-show hosts,
putting Les among the top 2% in America.
Radio
turned out to be a scond career choice for Les Kinsolving,
who had become a priest, following in the footsteps of his
father, Episcopal Biship Arthur B. Kinsolving, once the chaplain
at the USMA, West Point. The junior Kindolving ran a prison
ministry in California while writing newpaper articles fo
the " San Francisco Chronicle" before gaining a
syndicated column in 250 newpapers.
